On October 25, 2006, a User Workshop on Go4IT Testing Platform will be held. The Go4IT platform is intended for conformance testing of implementations of the IPv6 – next generation Internet Protocol.

The project team comprises 11 organizations from Europe, China and Brazil. The objectives of Go4IT are to

• Promote and foster conformance testing oriented validation approach as well as associated technologies such as TTCN3.
• Develop the users community of such an approach
  
• Supply a range of executable and freely accessible test services
  
• Supply the associated range of support services on a free basis
  
• Supply complementary commercial services such as certification, consulting
  
• Set-up the environment required to develop a low cost, open and generic solution

The workshop will cover the following topics: mission and goals of the Go4IT project, its role in the world and in Russia, testing methodology underlying the testing platform, and the architecture of the Go4IT Testing Platform. A prototype of the Go4IT Testing Platform will be presented in a demo session.
